Master Bed and Bath

The not so attractive before photo!  The walls were a celery green and the drapes were a drab brown.  Yuck!!!!

In transition.  The walls have been painted an historical blue shade from Benjamin Moore.

The almost finished look.  Some other changes have been made but I don't have them handy to post at this moment.

The french doors lead out to a deck where you can pick oranges off the tree.

Sorry the lighting is not great in this photo.  I will try to update these soon.

These are the shelves on the tub deck.  They were a pain in the patootie to accessorize!   They do not seem to serve any practical purpose.

My vanity area.  Rick's is slightly smaller just behind this one.
You can see the shower in the reflection of the mirror.

The corner of the tub next to the shower.  I have yet to make the window treatment for this window.

Upstairs Bedrooms

This is the Guest Room next to the upstairs hall bath.  I haven't done much with the decor in her just yet.
This is a before picture of the bedroom that I use as a sewing/ironing room.  It was painted a rather drab celery green when we purchased the house.

I had the room painted blue (it came out a little deeper than I had intended but oh well, it is a vast improvement over the green!)  I now have a white comforter on this twin/hospital bed.  As well as being the sewing/ironing room, it has served as the surgical recovery room when Rick and I each (respectively) had our hip and knee surgeries.
I really like the full length curtains on this arched window/french doors.  The doors open out to a little Juliet balcony that you can see on the front of the house photo.

The Upstairs Bath and Hall

Upstairs guest bathroom before we moved in.

Bathroom after it was painted to coordinate with the backsplash tile.

A close-up of the tile and stone.

The tub area before...

Walls painted a light peachy color and shower curtain made.

Desk area at the top of the stairs.  This is the before pic.

Here is a picture of how it looks now except that I have changed all of the boxes to white for a cleaner look.

Hallway outside of the guest bedroom and bathroom.  This is directly across from the master bedroom.   The linen closet (below) is just to the left of this area.

The perfect place to curl up with a book and a teddy if you are a little girl.
I sewed the pillows and curtains in this area.

A close-up view of the niche in the linen cupboard.
The monkey mirrors the safari print on the curtains.
